In the East Bay we are subject to a wide variety of weather and walking conditions. Particularly for dogs living east of the Caldecott Tunnel.

At Outbound Houndz we choose to walk only on the most comfortable, clean and safe trails. The Oakland hills East Bay Regional Parks provide the ideal year round walking conditions. They are cooler in the summer giving your dog a much needed break from the outside heat.

The rocky content of the soil provides better drainage for a much cleaner, less muddy environment for your dogs in the winter.

The Redwood Forests are spectacular in the rain! It takes a few extra minutes to get there, but its worth it.....

There is also a lack of cattle grazing….but that’s another story.
